Never Gets Old

this weekend was such a blast. pretty sure we all should have a seasons pass to disneyland by now since we go so much! it really is the happiest place on earth, we always have a great time. sadly my favorite ride - mater horn- won't be open till june but besides that i loved every minute of it. the disneyland parade, fast passes, people watching, dole whip, & the world of color were some of the highlights. it was also my nephew Luke's 2nd birthday! the real reason why we went down there! Luke is such a cutie and had so much fun at his "Thomas the Train" party with all of his friends. Christine and her husband Brandon made the coolest train for all the kids to play in and decorated the park so well. later that night we all got to see The Avengers! finally :) it was an awesome movie and i'm so glad christine got a babysitter for Luke so we all could see it together! on sunday we went to church and took some pictures at the newport beach temple across the street. my sister is so lucky to live in such a beautiful area! both my mom and sister had a great mothers day. they really are such amazing examples and mothers to everyone around them. i'm grateful for my family and i'm hoping that we'll get the entire fam together next time! love you all.

so i'm sure you guys have seen this all over pinterest but i've always wanted to try doing it myself! it looked like so much fun and it seriously was. since i won't be in school this summer that leaves more time for diy! yay. i bought the canvas from hobby lobby, got a box of 64 crayons and a smaller box of 24 to fill the entire canvas. we hot glued the crayons and blow dryed the wax on high to get the beautiful rainbow dripping effect! super cool right? everyone go out and make some for yourself you won't regret it! now i just need to decide where to put mine ;)

Hey Batter Batter

my mama and i sang the national anthem at the u of u vs. suu baseball game the other night! it was a grand ol' time since both of the teams that played are colleges i have attended. i was rooting for both but the utes swept the game. we feel so privileged to get the opportunity to sing. we always have a great time doing it. hopefully there will be more to come this summer!

i've been really terrible at blogging as of late! sorry life has been a lil crazy. can i just say how excited i am for summer? the warm weather, windows rolled down music blasting, ice cream, bonfires, boating, tan skin, free from school, bucket lists, vacations. i could go on. craving all of the above. good luck to everyone on their finals and if your done already cheers to you! hope these pics amped up your excitement. we're almost there peeps ;)
